​Established in 1921 in Trumansburg, NY, American Legion Post 770 has proudly served the community for over a century.  Founded by local veterans returning from World War I, our post is dedicated to supporting fellow service members, promoting patriotism, and strengthening community ties.  Throughout our rich history, we have fostered camaraderie and provided essential resources for veterans and their families, adapting our programs to meet their evolving needs. Our post serves not only as a gathering place but also as a cultural hub that celebrates the traditions and values of military service, honoring the sacrifices made by those who served.

Our post features a variety of weekly events and special clubs designed to engage individuals of all ages.  Additionally, we offer event space and in-house catering services, making it easy for groups to host gatherings and celebrate milestones together. As a pillar of support and pride, Post 770 actively engages in outreach initiatives, including volunteering for community service projects and offering scholarships to high school graduates, while hosting inclusive events that promote awareness of veterans' issues and the importance of community support.
